That's why I buy the fancy packs of Saturn games. Cardboard looks way better, as it did for 3DO and the NES. Those clamshells are a large part of why I don't collect Genny games.

Here is a list of games that were released in cardboard only. Any well-maintained and properly calibrated printer can be used to print these out. For optimal results, you should print these from Photoshop to avoid the images getting resized. The covers are formatted to fit a standard Genesis clamshell case (If anyone wants UGC formatted ones just PM, keep in mind Genesis carts don't sit very well in a UGC). Cardboard boxes suck! So I've been making replacement printable covers for games that were only packaged in cardboard.
